Thorpe Hesley & Scholes Open Garden Day
11am - 5pm. Thorpe Hesley and Scholes villages, Rotherham. Entry £3 adults, programmes on sale at Holy Trinity church, some local shops, and the gardens involved. Proceeds to church funds. Also stalls, plants, cakes, raffle, tombola, quiz, guitar recitals and refreshments.

The Rat Pack - 15th Anniversary Tour
7.30pm Rotherham Civic Theatre. Professional Production.Tickets Full price £18, concessions £17. The Rat Pack is joined by special guest, the multi-talented Kenny Lynch, swinging into his hits including Up On The Roof and Stand by Me. The show also features BBC Musical Director Don Hunt at the piano and to add even more glamour, the stunning L.A Showgirls.
The Once Voice Concert
The concert returns on Friday 11 July and welcomes back the dazzling guest appearance of Toyah Wilcox, who will be singing two specially arranged songs to perform with the children. The winning vocalist from Rotherham's Got Talent will also perform live to the audience. The event is open to all schools, their parents, carers and families and to members of the public. Tickets cost £5 and can be obtained from Rotherham United online.

French Can Can performed by Ballet Theatre UK
7.30pm Rotherham Civic Theatre. The highly praised French Can Can dancers perform the breathtaking traditional choreography and dazzling new dance routines by critically acclaimed choreographers, Christopher Moore and Tania Matos. In true French burlesque tradition the performance delivers style, energy and that certain "Ooh La La!", the perfect night of pure indulgence and passion. Tickets Full price £18, Concessions £16 and Children under 16 £14.50. Professional Production.
Harthill Carnival and Show
For a fun filled day out for all the family come along to this year's Carnival, on Saturday 12th July. Carnival starts with the Shire Horse judging at 12 noon and the parade through the village at 12.15pm. The theme for the parade is 'Sporting Event' and with cash prizes for the top three floats donated by JH Skepper & Son Ltd we look forward to seeing an amazing parade with colourful floats and lots of happy faces.
Attractions for this year are football freestyler - Dan Magness, children's entertainer - Jolly Jingles, Phoenix Falconry, Stunt Bikers, Barlborough Bears Cheer and Dance, Buckaroo, RUFC Inflatable Football Pitch and a flypast by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
There will be the usual stalls, refreshments and fairground rides of all sizes with something for all ages and a fun dog show.
All this plus the usual favourites of vintage tractors and shire horses which make this a great day out for all the family.
Entry prices are £2.50 for Adults and £1 for Children and Senior Citizens with free parking while it lasts.
Why not join us for the Carnival Concert with doors opening at 7.30pm featuring a top live band, The Other Two, tickets are £5 for Adults and £2.50 for Children and Senior Citizens and will be available shortly from Tanimara, Harthill Butchers, Carnival and Cricket Club Members.
