Whiston Festival of Brass
From 1.30pm Whiston Rotherham. Opened by the Mayor of Rotherham Maggi Clark, march through the village to the stage on the village green. Each band will perform a 25 minutes programme, Hatfield Brass for All concert in the evening finishes at 8pm. Free entry, seating, funfair, stalls, hog roast, BBQ, ice cream, licenced bars, and much more.

7pm St Bartholomew's Church, Maltby. Admission £6 includes wine and cheese. NB This may be wrong one source says St Bernards Church but I can't find one in Rotherham. The Friends in Harmony website says St Bartholomew's so I've gone along with that.
12 noon to 11.45pm. Roundwood Farm, Rawmarsh, Rotherham. Tickets £3 for adults on the gate on the day, under 18s free. Paying customers get a wristband and only wristband wearers can purchase alcohol. Website Beanfest 2015.
Antarctic Monkeys, System of a Down, Novana and many more groups. Fairground, stalls, bars selling alocholic and soft drinks and quality food stalls. Beanfest is now a registered company and all proceeds go to charity. Parking £3.
Rotherham's Vintage Hop
10.30am - 3.30pm, Rotherham Town Centre.
- Musical entertainment throughout the day will include the return of the George Formby Experience with Paul Casper Esq who has a truly uncanny resemblance to the man himself. Lula & the BeBops, a fantastic five piece band from the heartland of the North who will be playing jumping, jiving, rockin' rhythm and blues. Plus, we have Lorrie Brown, one of the country's most experienced Vera Lynne tributes, performing many 40s favourites.
- To complement the live stage there will be a fabulous Vintage Market along Effingham Street with stalls selling an eclectic range of clothing, homewares and other vintage goods.
- For those wanting to learn a few moves we have some fantastic dance demonstrations and workshops from the Jivesters outside Boots.
- On Church Street, at the side of Rotherham Minster, look out for a wonderful display of vintage vehicles including a 1937 Velocette, a 1953 Austin Somerset and a 1939 Morgan Supersport, plus many more!
- Plus, the Chapel on the Bridge will be open, so make sure you go along to see inside this wonderful building and experience a part of Rotherham's history.
Wickersley Dry Regatta & Community Fun Day
From 12noon to 5.30pm Wickersley School Playing Fields entry through the playing field gates. Cost Adults £1, under 16s 50p. Wacky Boat Races, stalls, funfair, entertainment, workshops. Organised by the Lions' Clubs of Rotherham in aid of a project at Hilltop Special School.
